These are just a few things we are thankful for. Of course, once you start, you can't stop thinking of all the things you are thankful for. I'm so glad that there is an entire month out of the year that is dedicated to gratitude and remembrance. It's a good time to remind us all that everything we have is a gift and appreciation should always be expressed for these abundantly given gifts.

We hope you all had a wonderful, relaxing, glorious, and filling Thanksgiving! We sure did with the sunshine, mountain biking, running, family and fun, turkey and cranberries, stuffing, yams, mashed potatoes, corn, warm rolls, apple pie, pumpkin pie, banana cream pie, and always so much more! Thanks family for the fun, delicious food, and good company! We love you all!

Awesome Original Bubble Gum

Josh found this roll of Hubba Bubba Bubble Gum in my backpack that I haven't used since my freshman year of college. So I believe that makes it about 5 years old. Fortunately, the great preservatives in this gum kept it soft and chewable so I could blow this giant bubble!

little things mean a lot

I love my husband. He is the best man in the world. I came home late last night after frantically driving through rush hour traffice to get my car inspected and registered before they businesses closed at 6pm. I walked into our apartment and Josh and spent his time cleaning the apartment before I got home. He vacuumed, did the dishes, made the bed, put away the clutter, took the garbage out, and took down the Halloween decorations so I could put up our few Thanksgiving things. He is the best. There is nothing like coming home to a clean home that smells really good after a long, frantic day. It meant so much to me. He said he did it becuase he loves me. I know he does and I love him so much. Thank you, Joshua for all you do! You are the best and I feel so lucky to be married to you. Te amo mi amor! Muy muchisimo!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

We hope you all had a very scary Halloween! I love Halloween! It has become one of my favorite times of year. I love the change of the season, I love the full moon and cool air, I love all the pumpkin, jack-o-lantern, and witch decorations, the special treats, the kid's costumes, and the parties. It will be so fun when we have kids in the future and get to take them trick-or-treating! Josh and I certainly had a good share of Halloween fun! We carved many a fierce jack-o-lantern (the first set with my parents =), partook of the delicious pumpkin cookies and breads, sugar cookies, and caramel apples. So delicious.

We went to my family's annual Halloween Party this week as mummies and played all the coolest Halloween games with my super cute nieces and nephews. Friday we anticipated going to the new Macfisto movie, but illness struck me Friday morning and didn't fully dissipate until Saturday afternoon. Sorry Thorups! I promise we will go next year! And on the very night of Hallows Eve, we carved our second set of pumpkins (this time with the Ragsdales) and had dinner, then spent our night to the bewitching hour with our good friends Smiths, soon to be Muellers, and Dustin. Thanks for all the fun everyone!
