Look at him now! He has grown so much and I am so proud of him! Amazing what regular watering and sunshine can do for plant (and myself, but this post is about Herb).
I recently used some of his leaves to make Lemon Basil Pasta one day, and Margarita Pizza another. Both were incredible with fresh basil. Next in line is pesto sauce. I'm hoping that I'll be able to keep Herb alive through the winter, but I'm worried because he didn't get enough sun inside before (he's been sitting outside on a ledge all summer). I might end up getting a special plant light. I'm just so impressed with how big he has gotten!
